Here are 10 lessons I’ve learnt from training for 10 + years.
Interested in building some of this into your life. Get in touch today and we can talk about levelling you up
1- Training is a metaphor for life. You get out what you put in.
2 - Training holds no favourites and doesn’t discriminate. We can all do well.
3 - Training is one of the best mood enhancers out there.
4 - Training builds consistency, discipline and self-worth. This will flow into other parts of life.
You can’t rush fitness. It will take as long as it takes for you.
5 - Hiring someone who’s been there and done it can, however, help you find a more efficient way of getting there.
6 - You’ll never be entirely happy with your results, but that’s half the fun and keeps you coming back for more.
7 - Use others for motivation but don’t get into unfavourable comparisons.
8 - Recovery is just as important as the work you are putting in.
9 - You won’t always be in top form. During these times, keep ticking over, and you’ll find you’ll maintain easier than you might think.
Finally, Training is one of the most significant drivers for positive action in other areas of life.
